SRM Studio LLC
SRM Studio is the design practice of Sebastian Moraga, a Los Angeles–based designer focused on physical merchandise and brand identity. With a background in garment development and operations in the United States and Japan, the studio works across fashion, media, nonprofit, and technology — following each project from conception to realization, with close attention to both the object and the strategic vision around it.
Sebastian studied World Arts and Cultures at UCLA, founded Shop Don't Tell in 2018, and co-founded the menswear label No Maintenance in 2020 before establishing SRM in 2025. All collaborations are done deliberately, with a small number of clients at a time.
Creative Direction
Art direction for campaigns, launches, and ongoing brand output. Sourcing photographers, stylists, and the production the work needs. For clients with a team in place who need a senior eye across the output.
Strategy
Positioning, naming, and early-stage direction for founders and teams. Working through the questions of what the thing actually is, who it's for, and how it earns its place in the world. Often the first engagement, before any design begins.
Visual Identity
Logo, typography, color, and the full system of marks that surrounds a physical product or brand. Built to carry across packaging, collateral, and whatever the product becomes over time.
UX / UI
Interface design for product-adjacent digital surfaces: e-commerce, landing pages, and brand sites. Built around the physical thing the brand makes, not separate from it.
Product Development
Full apparel development from first sketch to finished piece. Tech packs, pattern oversight, fabric selection, sampling, and revision rounds. Hands-on through every stage.
Production
End-to-end manufacturing through direct partnerships. Vendors are chosen based on who can actually make the thing, primarily in the United States and Japan, with European partners for specific projects.
